Annual Report 2025–26
“Spread Love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”
- Mother Teresa
With profound gratitude to the Almighty God for His continued blessings and protection. Let me submit the annual report for the academic year 2025-26.
*. The current academic year dawned with the reopening of the school on 2nd June 2025. The opening day was celebrated as Pravesanolsavam, aimed at generating great interest among students in learning. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our beloved Principal, Rev. Sr. Dr. Jolly Joseph S.H., in the presence of other dignitaries.
*. The total strength of the school is 856. We have 38 teaching staff and 8 non-teaching staff. We have a team of proficient and competent teachers and very cooperative non-teaching staff.
*. 29 students appeared for the board examination and performed well. We achieved 100% results. Angel Elgin and Aadesh Kishore were the top scorers with 97% marks. We could upgrade our school to a high-tech level.
*. We have an efficient PTA in our school to assess and encourage all our activities.
*. As a part of enrichment programmes, various workshops and seminars are periodically organized throughout the year for the overall development and enhancement of skills in teachers and students. Almost all teachers attended online training sessions through different CEOs. Our school also organized training programmes for teachers.
*. Academic excellence is our main goal. Our teachers assess the progress of each student and evaluate their development through periodic and semester examinations. To foster students' skills and talents, various clubs were formed. Along with these clubs, we have four houses to nurture and develop co-curricular activities. Various competitions were conducted to motivate the students' spirit in both scholastic and non-scholastic activities.
*. CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
The school ensures holistic development through a disciplined schedule of Mass PT,
Yoga, Skating, Cricket, Football and Badminton. Under the leadership of Sr. Tessy
John S.H., the school successfully coordinates various clubs alongside the DCL and
KCSL programmes.
*. In alignment with NEP 2020, the school organized a vibrant Food Fest combined with a Bagless Day. This initiative transformed the campus into a hub of experiential learning, allowing students to set aside their textbooks and focus on essential life skills, creativity and culinary exploration.
*. We conducted our school-level arts competition and selected the winners for the Sub-District Sahodaya Competition. The Best House was determined by considering the total points. We also participated in the Sahodaya Youth Festival Competition.
*. The School Arts Festival, SPLASH 2025, was staged on September 17 and 18, featuring overwhelming student participation. The glorious winners of this event were selected to represent the school at the Sahodaya competitions.
*. This year's Annual Sports Meet got a flying start with a march past and display. Winners were selected and awarded prizes. Our students participated in the Sahodaya Sports Competition held at Central Stadium and secured 2nd and 3rd prizes.
*. The Anti-Drug Day ceremony was brightened by a flash mob performed by students of NSS Women's College, Neermankara. An outreach programme based on Anti-Drug Day was presented at Govt. H.S.S. Kalady. The function was enlivened by a flash mob by St. Mary's students, followed by an inspiring message from the chief guest, Ajith R., Preventive Officer and Vimukthi Resource Person. Snacks and soft drinks were provided to cheer the participants.
*. We celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st through Mass Yoga sessions, practices and classes conducted by yoga instructors.
*. Karate classes are conducted weekly to inculcate values and morals in students.
*. Students are given various opportunities to learn beyond classroom teaching by observing Reading Day, Yoga Day, Independence Day, Teacher's Day, Kerala Piravi and Gandhi Jayanthi. Grand celebrations were also held as part of Onam and Christmas festivities.
*. Our school organized health awareness programmes by conducting awareness classes on health and pollution.
*. Our school conducted tour programmes for students of the LP, UP and HS sections.
*. As a token of concern towards the needy, we helped one of our students' families whose father passed away recently. Eye tests and medical camps were conducted as a part of our service activities.
*. We promise to continue our journey with confidence and zeal. With this, we foresee a world of universal singularity where our children are going to be the propellants of change and make the world a beautiful place to live in.
